Existence Exists
Existence exists for all biological entities as well as everything in the Universe. All the words used in this site representing the thoughts of me. The meaning is uniquely mine and mine alone. Thoughts and meaning from visiting this site belong uniquely to the reader.
When I was in Antartica, I was fanscinated by a penguin who was playing with a feather for the longest time. I was thinking what was the word existence in its ‘thought’ as well as in mine. Certainly, the feather is not food for survival. Thus, the meaning of existence for the penguin is definitely more than survival. Obviously, it’s not possible for me to know what it thinks. I am not a penguin. Yet, existence exists for both of us with or without using the word, existence, but the meanings differ for certain.
It is not possible to know when Humans have started to contemplate the meaning of existence., but it is possible to think that when they have had more time not to hunt or gather for food to survive, just like the penguin when it’s not hungry. Mind you, humans today, do not think much about existence, their attentions are on different ‘ feathers’. However, an old guy like me, I have played many ‘feathers’ and now have no worries about hunger, the word, existence comes into focus.
The purpose of this essay is to explore these fundamentals, yes, in words.
